Spring Bowl is a lino cut print. Hand carved, burnished and printed by me. Using ochre blended ink on fine Japanese printing paper.

This design is inspired by the lively and joyful spring time flowers of blue bells and wild garlic. Two wildflowers that grow prolifically in the woodland I walk my dog in every day.

After such long dark winters as we endure in the northern part of England, its such a relief when spring finally arrives. This print is a celebration of the gifts and exuberance of life and growth that springtime brings. A gift or reward for making it through the more barren season.
