Soil not Oil
Soil not Oil
I could talk about all the ways that the oil and gas industry is bad for the environment, but I’m guessing you’ve all seen the news footage of sea creatures slicked in oil from spills and heard about the impact of pollution and how emissions contribute to climate change. So I won’t bore you with all the reasons why I felt the need to create this design. Living in a part of the country where fracking happens, I find myself worrying that as we are struggling to save our planet and slow climate change, there are people who still think its a good idea to drill into it and damage it further. My hope is that more countries will invest in more green energy. And in the mean time I’m going to keep trying to help the pollinators along by planting flowers they like, planting trees to purify our air and tending my patch of soil to be as giving as possible.
