This design has two facets to it.

It’s a celebration of those moments when the gloom lifts and you finally feel good. When you suffer from depression those moments can be rare and oh so precious. But they do happen and keep happening and you know its a sign that you are getting better.

This design is also inspired by my sisters. I was lucky enough to be raised by not just a Mum and Dad but two sisters too. And I have learnt so much from them but often the thing I treasure most is the knowledge that women are brave, incredible, determined and powerful beings. I never wanted to be a boy as a child, because I knew I was in good company being a part of a sisterhood of women who uplift, support and inspire each other every day. As I’ve grown up I’ve learnt that sisterhood isn’t just something you have to be born into. It can be found in the amazing women around us everyday.

Each design is silkscreen printed by me in my studio, then signed and numbered. This printing technique makes each print a unique piece of art, no two are exactly alike. This design is printed onto gorgeous handmade paper, made in India using recycled cotton rag and has a beautiful rough deckled edge. This print measures 29.7 x 42cm , but the handmade nature of this paper means size and shape may vary slightly. Each print is wrapped in acid free tissue paper to protect it. No plastic is used in the packaging. I aim to ship within 3-5 days or sooner.
