Constantly something I strive for, Equanimity is that state of calmness where external stresses don’t effect you. When I was a child and was having a tough time at school I remember my Mum saying ‘ pretend you’re in a bubble where no one can get through unless you let them’ unfortunately its not so easy to master but having this on my wall serves as a constant reminder that its a choice, you can step back and not let whatever is aggravating you or causing you anxiety to ruffle your feathers. My hope is that this zen little lady atop her tea cup will remind you to take a step back and ask yourself if its worth your energy to worry about whatever it is.

I love this quote by Sathya Sai Baba ‘Let the wave of memory, the storm of desire, the fire of emotions pass through without affecting your equanimity’ Now I know a storm of desire isn’t always a bad thing but I like the message anyway.

The tea series is printed on A5 paper measuring 21 x 15cm. I chose this paper because of its gorgeous texture, deckled edge, and ethical manufacture. Made by hand in idea using recycled cotton rags in india. The handmade nature of this paper means size and shape may vary slightly. Available in Ivory and Sage grey (a grey with a blue green tint). Each print is wrapped in acid free tissue paper to protect it. No plastic is used in the packaging. Each print is signed and numbered. I aim to ship within 3-5 days or sooner.
