Equali-tea. The very first tea design I made. And its quite self explanatory really isn’t it. imagine if we could pour everyone a cup of this!

We might hope that the modern world we live in now is one where men, women and everyone in between are treated as equal regardless of race or disability. But there are still many many areas where people other than men are still belittled, talked down to, or worse experience abuse or are discriminated against. Whether its the pay gap, a white cis man being promoted over you, the way a builder only wants to talk to the ‘man of the house’ or more sinister disadvantages we face, inequality is still felt. I feel you. And so do many more.

But doesn’t it seems a nonsense when there are some pretty mind blowing things that we can do, birth life, feed life, grow businesses, see things others don’t, overcome disadvantage and be so much stronger for it.

So maybe next time you are sent out of a meeting to make a round of tea, or asked ‘darlin’ how about a brew?’ by the plumber we can imagine we are pouring out a dose of equali- tea. A little bit of witchy potion magic to help bring you a little bit of joy.

Equali-tea measures approx. 20x26cm. Lino printed on beautiful Japanese Awagami printing paper with two deckled edges. I print using safe wash oil based ink in small batches. Hand printing means results in slight differences in each print, making making every one unique. Each print will come on recycled backing card, and in a starch biodegradable wallet.
